Camille Guzzwell, co-host of The Breeze Waikato Weekdays answers 4 questions in 4 minutes for Grandparents NZ
What achievement are you most proud of?
If I could only pick one achievement it would have to be my children James (14) and Mia (11) – watching them grow up fills my heart with joy.
What do you like to do with your time outside of work?
I love being outdoors – one of my happy places is walking around Lake Te Koutu in Cambridge with my golden retriever Milo. Taking the family for bush walks, going for river adventures – we live in a gorgeous country! I also love listening to music and reading. I like reading actual books – with pages! (Old fashioned I know 😉)
Who is the most interesting person you have met through your work?
I feel lucky to have met some amazing people through work – from Ed Sheeran to Ronan Keating, from Politicians to business leaders to our pretty cool listeners. But I think meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last year in Rotorua would probably be right up there!
What was the best holiday you have even taken?
My favourite holidays are always the family ones. Most recently we had an Easter holiday in Wellington and it was awesome – we had a weekend full of family, friends, wind, amazing sun, tonnes of cold rain and lots of delicious Welly food! We’ve also had some hilarious camping adventures where our tent nearly blew away, fun staying with friends in Mangawhai and we like to explore new parts of the country we haven’t been to yet – which can lead to some interesting adventures!!
