Kia Ora Shortland Street, Yes We’re Open!

Calling all Shortland Street fans… after gracing our screens for 27 years, New Zealand’s iconic hospital drama is finally opening its doors to you! Not since Carrie Burton uttered the famous words “You’re not in Guatemala now, Doctor Ropata!” has there been such fever in Ferndale.

Launching careers of many NZ stars including Temuera Morrison, Karl Urban, Kimberley Crossman and Robyn Malcolm Shortland Street was even visited by Rachel Hunter.

Shortland Street is opening its doors to the public where you can check out ED, Triage, TK’s apartment, the King’s house and visit the I.V bar. Along with the locations you can meet some of your favourite Shortland Street Stars.

Airing in 7 countries, Shortland Street is particularly popular in Fiji and the Cook Islands. It was also recently parodied on American talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!

So what are you waiting for? Shortland Street is a Kiwi icon – bring the grandkids, friends and family. Pack your camera and get a selfie with your favourite star! You can even grab a bite at the food trucks.
