Many websites use a light coloured or small font making articles difficult to read. However, did you know that you can zoom in on websites if the font is too small for you to see? It also doesn’t matter what type of computer you have, they should all be able to zoom in and then zoom out again.
For a MAC hold down ‘command’ and the ‘+’ to zoom in. To zoom out hold down ‘command’ and ‘-‘ . Both the plus and minus signs are on the top right hand side of the key board.
If you are not using a MAC, hold down ‘ctrl’ and ‘+’ or ‘-‘ . And if you’d like to go back to the original website view hold down ‘command’ or ‘ctrl’ depending on which computer you have and ‘0’.
If this is not working for you, this means that the website browser you are using is outdated – this is not a big problem at all! You can install a new one via the web browsers website however if you’re not confident to do this yourself, ask a friend or family member to help. It should only take a few minutes and will have you up and running with the zoom function in no time!
